Kidney Angels was created by a living kidney donor who donated his kidney to his mother 34 years ago. Our mission is to provide you with the clarity and confidence you need on your kidney donation journey. Here, you'll find support rooted in real-life understanding, guiding you every step of the way. You also have the opportunity of communicating directly with the founder - a kidney donor - and ask questions about life during and after the donation.

Today, Kidney Angels is a welcoming nonprofit dedicated to supporting living kidney donors, transplant recipients, caregivers, and families. Through trusted compassionate guidance and a community built on lived experience, we strive to ensure that no one has to face the kidney donation journey alone.

Born From Experience

More than 34 years ago, I donated a kidney to my mother. At this time, there was little real-life guidance about what donation would mean long term. Remembering how that uncertainty felt, and knowing others still face it today, inspired me-to create a place that shows donors can live full lives-creating space for fear without dismissing it through support, reassurance, and shared life experience. This space also offers people who are considering kidney donation the chance to speak with someone who has more than 34 years of real-life donor experience.
