Where it all began
Kidney Angels began with a son's extraordinary gift. More than 34 years ago, our founder made the life-changing decision to donate his kidney to his mother. That experience opened his eyes to the challenges, emotions, and hope that come with living kidney donation—and inspired a lifelong commitment to helping others navigate the same journey.
Today, Kidney Angels is a welcoming nonprofit dedicated to supporting living kidney donors, transplant recipients, caregivers, and families. Through trusted compassionate guidance and a community built on lived experience, we strive to ensure that no one has to face the kidney donation journey alone.
